Hey there,
I recently had to step down from my Samsung TV connected via DVI back to an old LG Flatron L1953TR. The native resolution on the LG is 1280 x 1024 which is fine for me. However, before I was going for 1600 x 900 (or something similar) on the Samsung.
So after switching the monitor and running the Arsenal of Democracy settings I picked 1280 x 1024 16 Bit color (+ fullscreen) as a resolution.
Unfortunately, upon startup the game will not use the entire screen but instead only something like 1024 x 800 in the center of the screen. I get thick, nasty black bars around the game screen. Since I did not have it with the Samsung, is suppose it must have something to do with the switch.
I tried Windowed Mode to see if it would work but same thing happens with windowed mode. Operating System is Windows 7.
How can I get Arsenal of Democracy using the full 1280 x 1024 screen resolution? Any ideas? Anyone experienced that before?
