Right now in battle, if you zoom out so that you can actually control your army, the game is pretty much silent. I think the player should be able to hear more from a view point where the game will mostly take place. I doubt that players are exptected to have their camera zeroed in on middle of fight at ground level and not bother to control anything.

Also things like audible confirmation for selection of unit (visual indication could use some serious change here as well) would help out a lot. There should be gameplay elements tied to audio, like confirmation, warnings, effects, etc. Currently the audio at playable view point only plays some background music. Even thunder is mostly silent, which makes me wonder if my installation is seriously bugged up or something else.
