I was thinking that for the Orthodox religion, it should start out with a ton of Antipopes, but no real "natural" Pope.

Orthodox Antipopes:
1: Patriarch of Constantinople (Bishop of Hagia Sophia, controlled by the Emperor of Byzantium, recognized by all non-heretical Byzantine vassals except for Cyprus, and the Russian Orthodox churches)
2: Patriarch of Cyprus (Bishop of Constantia, controlled by the Duke of Cyprus)
3: Patriarch of Georgia (Bishop of Mtskheta, Kartli province, controlled by the King of Georgia, recognized by Alania)

Monophysite Antipopes:
1: Patriarch of Alexandria (Bishop of al-Muqulla, Cairo province, vassal of the Fatimid Caliphate, recognized by Nubia and Ethiopia, scatter tons of Coptic bishoprics throughout Egypt to represent the Copts)
2: Patriarch of Antioch (Bishop of Antioch, controlled by the Duke of Antiochaia, not recognized by the Monophysite Syrian provinces though, only Orthodox ones)
3: Patriarch of Armenia (Bishop of Sis, Cilicia province, controlled by the Duke of Armenia Minor, recognized by all Armenian provinces)

Nestorian Antipopes:
1: Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East (Bishop of Ctesiphon, Baghdad Province, vassal of the Abbasid Khalifa)

Other Orthodox antipopes formed in the course of the game:
1: Patriarch of Bulgaria in Tarnovo province in 1185 (controlled by the King of Bulgaria)
2: Patriarch of Serbia in Rashka province (Bishop of Zika) in 1219 (controlled by the King of Serbia)

Also there should be 4 provinces where you can establish a "Free" anti-Pope there if you capture it, regardless of which creed of Christianity: Jerusalem (create a Bishop of Holy Sepulchre), Antioch (Bishop of Antioch), Constantinople (Bishop of Hagia Sophia), Alexandria (Bishop of Saint Mark).

Why should there be an antipope if there's no such thing as a pope? There should be more patriarchates, sure, but they don't need to work the way the pope does.
