It is fair to say that new events will continue to be added for the rest of EU4's life.

I'll certainly keep adding events as long as I'm around (and if I wasn't you could be sure my replacement would). Just as we have so far.
We've added hundreds of events since it was originally released (maybe even more actually?).
We consider them (and have added such in the past) but might well end up implementing them differently anyway. Suggesting details like triggers, etc is still helpful but not necessary.
As always it's a good idea to say _why_ you want things in a certain way and not just how you want it
