I know this will probably get closed, but I have to put it out somewhere where maybe it will be seen.

Johan already uploaded some of the missing manaual pages to this Tech Support forum (see item:
manual pages), which is all well and good, but it looks like there are other pages missing from other books!

I - and another poster - are missing pages 40 to 56. I saw another post indicating a range of blank pages. It looks like the printers made a real hash of some of the printing runs!

On top of that, there are complaints about the size of the print on the grey paper, and the lack of an index. I think Paradox should at least find out what pages are missing in various books and post the appropriate pages, or just save time and put the entire PDF up on their website (it would deal with the other two problems as well because a PDF can be printed larger, or viewed at high magnification, and PDFs are searchable).

Please guys, throw us a bone here!

Probably want to go and kick your printer while you are at it.

Thank you.

If you do not hear back after a full week, send another e-mail and ask for an update.
They can send you a copy of those pages, It is above my pay grade to put them up myself.

Who did you send the original E-mail to?

As I said, Bugs didn't seem right, so I looked around the Paradox contact addresses and figured the "games@paradoxplaza.com" address was the best option.

Or at least they could point me at the right people.

If I was in error, then I'll try a different address, and my appologies.

Who is the publisher of your version? Thier logo will be on the CD. Or did you buy direct from Pdox?

I didn't buy direct (bought from a store) but the only logos on either the CD or the start-up screens are Paradox themselves.

Box has a little Atari symbol discretely hidden off on one side, but the Atari website never mentions Hearts of Iron (plus if they were the publisher I would expect their logo on start up).

Okay I assume the store was in North America then.

I will ask upstairs to have a look at this thread.

Yes, picked up my version at EBGames, Montréal, Canada, the logo is Atari.

All is fine up to page 40 (Domestic Policy). The next page is 33 (Deploying unassigned provincial asset). It then goes from 33 to 34-35-36 etc up to 40 again (Domestic Policy). It then jumps to page 57 (Brigade Type).

This means the manual is missing 41 to 56. I'm sure a pdf file would do, with only the missing pages. I can scan the manual for you guys to see if you want.

I'd really appreciate if Paradox would help us for this :)

Cheers!

As I said I have talked to the person who can help, the only thing is that person will prob. not get anything done till Moday now.

Excellent!

I'm confident they'll find a way! Thanks Cast!

Well you know where you can get your pages right now, if you don't just PM me. ;)
The rest will have to wait till Monday sorry.

All part of the service. :)

Castellon is just too good. :)

Anyway, I wanted to say that we have now correct manuals available for all those who did not receive a correct version. Please mail me your adress to florian@paradoxplaza.com and I will make sure you get a correct copy.

Regards,

Florian

Thanks Flori, I knew I could count on you to retify the situation.
