Well, like the title says more mission trees for Asia.

The countries i have in mind are :

1. Japan as a unified country, also daimyos could have their own unique missions. For example, i like playing as Otomo, so your mission would be to actually convert to christianity as it happend historicaly

2. Manchu and Qing, in my opinion Qing should have it`s own national "Qing" ideas and as for Qing missions, basically the conquest of Tibet, Central Asia and more...

3. Altaic and Mongolian countries whit their own mission trees as well as Yuan empire

4. Ming and Chinese rebelius countries after "Mingplosion", where the aim would be to reform Ming. And in similar fashion where you have decision "Japan is united", well in this case Ming is united, or something like that

5. Moving further to the west Persia and Safavids with missions such is to conquer Oman or Anatolia and Egypt

6. Arabia, since you have a decision to form Arabia it would be cool to add Arabian missions where the goal would be to procreate the borders of the Caliphate or so. Also could come in handy with the decision to unify Islam

7. Add decision to restore the Seljuk empire for anatolian turkish states except for Ottos, as well Seljuk missions with aim to procreate borders of Seljuk empire

8. Now these guys ain`t actually in Asia but what the hell i`ll sugest them any way, it`s Cyprus and Knights. Now these guys can reform into kingdom of Jerusalem. Now once Jerusalem is formed, it`s basically an Asian country. Most of it`s territory is in Asia. So adding Jerusalem missions would be great. Now the goal of Jerusalem missions would mostly concentrate on actual crusader targets that happend, such is siege of Damietta in 1218 or to go ahead a little, to atempt and secure holy centers of christianity such is Antioch or so. Also once Jerusalem is formed it can`t form any other nation. Also it would be cool if they would get unique goverment type, my idea is Crusader Kingdom, with certain bonuses if they fight against heathnes or defend against them. For example 20% Fort Def. if they are in war against non - catholics or 10% Army Discipline with same requriement. Now that`s only an idea :). What do you think? Feel free to sugest zour own ideas :)

Yes!

2. Manchu and Qing, in my opinion Qing should have it`s own national "Qing" ideas and as for Qing missions, basically the conquest of Tibet, Central Asia and more...
An idea split here could be argued, but I think it's less giving qing non-manchu ideas and more giving the tribes non-chinese empire related ideas (though there'd be some of each). Qing did carry certain manchu concepts with them, but certainly some shred of Yeren existing on the edge of Siberia late game having The Chinese Laws is a bit dubious. I also think that Qing should have missions for their conquests in the west, but not really things beyond that point. I was thinking that they could, in addition to taking the historical lands, have a more context-intensive requirement of breaking and subduing any powerful tribes nearby, as the one they annihilated was the last nomadic state to threaten them. And maybe a mission for the later stage of the empire and the european threats, with the empire wanting to be matching or ahead on tech & instituions and holding all chinese lands in the age of revolutions, though that could also be good as another one for the EoC regardless of who it is.

4. Ming and Chinese rebelius countries after "Mingplosion"
Definitely minor missions. Sort of like the timurid minors, but location within the country based like the Irish ones. I'm not sure what's really appropriate for Ming though, other than the last thing I mentioned for qing. The default EoC missions seem to have them in mind to an extent. I certainly wouldn't want permanent claims encouraging ahistorical Ming ai. Were you going for some stability-related things? I think anything to give them to that effect could really just be more missions for any emperor, not just Ming in particular. Something like tributizing all neighbors -> have all provinces be true faith, harmonized, or syncretic -> above mentioned tech & institution mission as an additional tree for the emperor. Though having a mission to establish tributaries creates problems for tags with missions to kill their neighbors, though these are manageable. Throw it on the end of the expansive trees for qing (so as to not have the player encouraged to tributize people they are supposed to destroy), yuan probably shouldn't have the generic EoC missions at all (they want to make the mongol empire and destroy the EoC anyway, and merit many missions of their own, primarily westward, but perhaps into korea and japan as well), and making arising minors that become emperors not want to make tributaries of the bulk of the core of the empire (at least as far as the missions are concerned; I think this is also an ai problem) could be solved by making taking the mandate check for Chinese minor missions before switching to EoC missions, and not do so if they are present, and instead have the last mission for the minors be to consolidate all of china and take the mandate, and have switching the missions be part of its reward. There might be other solutions. But now I've gone on a very long tangent.

where the aim would be to reform Ming. And in similar fashion where you have decision "Japan is united", well in this case Ming is united, or something like that
Hard "no" here though. A new dynasty is a new dynasty, and the mandate is already the empire-tier status to achieve in the region. I would support the deprecated and abandoned ability to re-establish the mandate of heaven after it had been destroyed being revived and implemented, though. It being tied to the Chinese minor mission rewards, rather than a decision, is also possible (perhaps just make the final Chinese minor mission I mentioned before have being the emperor or'd with the empire not existing, and reclaim it as a reward if it didn't exist).

5. Moving further to the west Persia and Safavids with missions such is to conquer Oman or Anatolia and Egypt
They could use more than they have for sure, but the ancient empire is perhaps a bit much. Oman is fine. I was thinking that the southern Caucasus and the area between that and iraq are historical and needed and that Baluchistan, Transoxiana, or Oman would be other sorts of things to perhaps give them. Though you miss perhaps the most important Safavid mission consideration - giving Ardabil missions to take Persia before the formation.

6. Arabia, since you have a decision to form Arabia it would be cool to add Arabian missions where the goal would be to procreate the borders of the Caliphate or so. Also could come in handy with the decision to unify Islam
I support some other people's ideas that some changes to caliphate related things are called for, however this is fine if all of that is going to stay the way it is.

7. Add decision to restore the Seljuk empire for anatolian turkish states except for Ottos, as well Seljuk missions with aim to procreate borders of Seljuk empire
How many Iranian empire formables does one game need? Though Rum definitely could use missions. Whether that's reclaiming the other seljuk lands, an otto mission rehash on account of their similar role (position, gov't, etc), or some combination thereof is the question. I think giving Rum missions to take iran & such would be fine, but I'm not so sure we really need a tag for it (similar to how Korea has missions for the old Goguryeo lands but doesn't need a tag for it).

Well it was just my opinion about Qing :). Exactly my thought regarding the mission stuff you sugested :). In short i'm all for it.

But now I've gone on a very long tangent.[/QUOTE] Well Ming historically had a large fleet, perhaps lager then any european countries in that time, how ever, their emperor ( don't remember his name) orderd all of the fleet to be destroyed. Some historians claim if they didn't destroy the fleet they could easily colonise nearby islands and more. As for the part where the goal is to harmonize with certain religions or to stabalise your realm or more economic/trade missions :)

Exactly my thought, Anatolian beyliks should have unique missions aiming to restore Rum, while Rum itself should focus on recovering Persian lands and reforming Seljuks. In the case that Seljuks be added, the decision for reforming Seljuks should be allowed only for anatolian turks except Ottomans.

You made some good points here, with most of them i agree :)

This would, obviously, be desirable content to have in the game. It's just a matter of finding the time and resources to get it done. We'll see what we can do in the future.

I can only hope.
Third Rome got its post release trees in Dharma, the last big expansion.
It'd make a lot of sense to continue this trend for the other two regional DLCs, MoH and CoC, in the next big expansion.
It's rather disheartening right now, as someone who owns both of these expansions, how flavorless they feel when compared to TR, RB, Dharma and GC.

Yaay :D can't wait. On personal note i would love to se Jerusalem mission tree, but hey i know you guys work hard in upcomming expansion. Best of luck and continue good job :).
