I recently switched Stellaris over to the open beta 3.8. I noticed something immediately amiss as the game started. After clicking "Play" on the launcher, the Stellaris screen appeared, and just before it went to the full screen loading screen, everything canted over to the right briefly. Once the game started, the mouse pointer is now misaligned. I have to click several inches over to the right in order to click a button on the main menu or any of the option screens.

No other games do this, and the mouse works fine in Windows. When I switch Stellaris back to the released version, the problem goes away. This makes Stellaris completely unplayable on the beta branch.

I noticed in the options that I had been switched to DirectX 11 beta, which I did not remember doing. I tried switching it back to DirectX 9 to see if that helped, but the open beta ignores this and comes back as 11 beta again. Even switching this using the released version causes the beta branch to overwrite this setting. I can even see this in the settings text file.

I have not made any changes on my PC recently other than installing some other games. As I said, no other games do this, and the mouse is fine on the WIndows desktop. Some help in debugging this would be appreciated.

EDIT: I am using no mods.

I just found a workaround. If I switch the settings in the launcher from "Fullscreen" to "Borderless Window", the problem goes away. So this appears to be a regression in the Fullscreen setting.
