Hello everyone !

I have a problem with Stellaris (and HoI4 and CKII too) : the mouse cursor in game doesn't match with my screen resolution 2560*1440. It is too big !
I run the game on windows 10 and i own all the DLCs.

Weird fact : when i take a screenshot in game, the mouse cursor appears totally normal !

But when i play, here is what i see ! (i took a photo of my screen with my smartphone).

I don't understand what the problem is...

Can someone help me ? I become crazy here...o_O

Thanks !

I don't know what could cause that, but it's clearly something outside the games. Has this always happened, or it used to be okay up to some point?

What is your Windows desktop resolution? Best to set the games to use that same resolution, at fullScreen.

If that doesn't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log .

Hi there !

Finally i found the solution ! i post it to help other gamers :

- Right-click on desktop (Display settings)

- Look for Scaling and Layout (Change the size of text, apps, and other items)

- It must be 100%............

For me, it was 125%...i forgot this setting since i changed it so long ago to save my eyes...o_O

Thanks for watching ;)

Grateful for both suggestions: Mouse cursor size to 1, or display settings to 100%

* My settings had been display setting 150% (recommended by w10) and cursor size 2.

* imho: changing display to 100% made everything too small and being lazy I didn't want to have to toggle this setting everytime I played a game.

* Changing the cursor size to 1 removed nearly all of the text obstruction I had been having before (problem solved!)

* so my recommendation is to change the cursor size, and only of that fails to start testing the display settings %
