As of the new patch (1.0.0.5 maybe?), the mouse cursor has completely disappeared. The rest of the game seems to function but the cursor is invisible.

Got same problem. No patch used. Just switched on my computer and started the game and no mouse, whereas it worked before 
Same problem, with game freshly downloaded from GamersGate. The mouse is working fine in Dead Legion (1.0.05 downloaded from GamersGate), but not in the full game (which is also 1.0.05).
No mouse cursor in King arthur 2 release version.
Hello I just bought king arthur 2 from gamersgate and there is no mouse cursor so this make the game unplayable unfortunately.

Thank you for posting about this, this is now fixed. Redownload the game and reinstall it. Sorry for the trouble.

As a temporary fix, I just found that alt tabbing out of the game and coming back brings back the hardware windows cursor into the game.
Yeah it does so for me too, but usually only for a few seconds before it disappears again :-(
True, but then when u finaly get to the Campaign map, the hardware windows pointer stays when going over menu items, but dissapears when u go over the actual map...
Really a shame ! I bought part 1 back in 2009 and played it with much fun, and downloaded it recently again a few weeks ago ....cause part 2 was comming and i wanted to warm up...
And now i cant play the game, no mouse pointer...

Funny thing is. i DO have a mouse pointer when in play KA-II DEAD LEGIONS (the dlc...)...
