My buddy and I have been playing together since the release... today, he suddenly has a different checksum and thus we can't play MP due to "different version"... I have the common 4a73, his is 115f... any ideas? He's deleted the game and reinstalled... no change... we have the same DLC, no achievements... ugh... help?

Deleting the game itself wont help. You have to delete the Imperator folder in My documents because when you re-install the game it doesnt get deleted and that is where the checksum mis-match comes from. Once you delete it and launch the game it gets auto-generated again and this time it should give the right checksum. Do keep in mind that the folder also houses the save files so make sure he backs them up first if he has any.
