MP need CD each?

Hey guys I gather this is the General Discussions board? (So stupid Ive been looking in the forum lists above thinking it should be one of those.... never bothered to scroll down!!!!! :O) I know you dont need the CD to play the game, but do all players need the CD in the machine to play MP. Or like Age of Empires games can 1 (or no) CD's support so many players?

Did you perchance download the Aussie ver of 1.05.
That one does not need the CD in the drive.
