Is there anyway, one can play MP, on Dial up?

I'm guessing "no", but does anybody know if there is ANY way of doing it

I moved right after I bought the game, so...I think I"m screwed...

you can but once war starts you have to slow the game speed way down to below normal or slow, making it hard to play at best. And this is giiven that you have the best dial up connection you can get. sorry mate.

Thought so, just wanted to make sure!!

Thanks for the bad news

You can play with dial up of course, but if you're both on Dial-up I'm not sure how well it will work....

But regardless, your host must be near you geographically; I play online regularly with my friend who has Dial-up, and he lives pretty far out from the phone company and is at least a half hour drive away. It works effortlessly if you have the host on at least faster the Dial up, and in order to make it work you'll have to compress the save and send it via email.

It will compress to about 800kb or a little more depending on how far the game is. I use WinAce for this.

EDIT: Oh, and I also reccomend Hamachi for this as well, as it works fine that way and makes it easy to organize without fuddling with the IP.
