how do you fix the manpower bug. what is the manpower bug?

Uphq

you need to install "enhancement" 1.2 (or 1.02? whatever it is) then fix manpower bug
look on hard drive for program files-> should be in program files-> paradox interactive folder ->hoi2 folder -> db folder ->misc document
then scroll down for
# Reinforcement Manpower Cost Factor
change .8 to .4

once you have UPHQ then go to

and sign up for some games :)

I had this problem, but my letter sequences on my lan were majorly different. What I found out was that because I had used mods, but installed them in different orders, the files changed in a different sequence and caused these letters to change. What I did was copy my text files from one computer to another and bam, the number sequence after the version number matched. The letter sequence is a failsafe against cheaters modifying their own files. There's a simple fix, get all the text files from the host. If all your text files (the ai, csv, etc files) match then it will have a matching letter sequence. If it's all jammed into a zipped file, it transfers pretty quick.

This has also allowed me to use things like Stoney Road in multiplayer :) And also explains why the Russians have 30+ divisions in all the provinces I border them with...hmm...maybe I should have stuck with Vanilla....
