I have a few question, as i find it hard to find a game in multiplayer.
*In Val net, when i see a game , can i join even if not invited ?? Each time i enter room, i say hi but never no one answer.
* Do player realy meet on Valnet ?
thanks

1) Sure, you can join any game you see on Valnet. This does not automatically mean that the players in the game want you to join, so first thing is to ASK the people. If they are continuing on a saved game you will most often not be allowed to play. The reason why some people may not answer you directly is because the downloading process can cause latency, so they dont see what you are writing until after a little while.

2) My regular playing group always meets on Valnet, and so do many other regular playing groups that I have seen.

Hope this helps.

One way to get an MP game going is to either post here to get players for a specific date (or dates). Otherwise you can start your own game on Valnet, and hope some other players join in. Also, you can take a look in the Clanbase, sometimes new clans advertise there (at moment that page is a bit empty though).

Are you running ZoneAlarm by any chance? If you do, manually add the HOI.EXE to the list of approved programs before starting HOI itself. Most likely ZoneAlarm is asking your permission to allow HOI access to the internet. The dialog gets keyboard focus, but, becauise of the DirectX video mode used by HoI, the dialog isn't visible.

That would create the illusion of a frozen system.
