mp troubles

Hey

We are haveing a bit of a problem here. Me and a friend are playing mp and yesterday it worked fine. I host on internet and he finds my game in Local area bacause we are connected to the same router.

But today we can see each others games but we are unable to choose/click it in the game found section. Any thoughts why it don't work now. And when we try to join in internet both it says that our games doesn't correspond. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Pure game wierdiness. I dont know either, since i had same problems as before. It works one day, just to stop working the other without having installed anything new.

Your best bet these days is using a program which emulates a virtual LAN. It usually also bypasses the restrictions imposed by routers, which might help.

Anyway, did you try hosting on LAN instead of hosting via the internet button?

well we tried all kinds of things. At last I copied is entire eu2 directory and then i finally worked. After 4 hours of troubleshooting. I heard about hamachi, maybe we'll try that next time.
