Hi everybody.

I was wondering if anyone is having a multiplayer game i can join. If you have please reply or send a message to me.

Oh and one more thing, can anyone tell me where i can download the latest version of HoI

Hiya! check the link in my sig; they are formal games, but there are 4-5 ongoing games currently being played, and more are being added.

You can get 1.05 and 1.05c at www.paradoxplaza.com/downloads.asp
1.05c is an optional tweak pack for 1.05, but if you want to play MP, you'll need to get it, as AFAIK most people use vanilla 1.05c for MP.

Starting one game hopefully today.
1936 skenario, 1.05c eu/eng version, no modifications.
"House rules":
* no tech sharing rumba between MAJORS, to minors allowed basic tech
* more historical attitude than gaming for ruin other's game (meaning no US invasion in 36 by Germany/Japan/Italy
* Pauses allowed
* STARTING TIME Tuesday 16th December 18.00 (gmt+2)
* END TIME 22.00 (gmt+2)
* Opportunity to continue sat/sun

I'm interested. Where will this be - the HOI channel in Valkyrie Net?

But I have trouble reconciling your desire for history with the 36 scenario. Can Italy rampage? Can Germany tank rush? Can the Axis gang-bang the UK in 1938? The 36 scenario is never historical if the players are playing to win and so your house rule seems quite arbitrary and subjective. Why play this broken scenario rather than 39 or 41?

Andrew,
Vnet today 18.00 gmt+2 meaning gmt 16.00...
Scenario is open, just as long as we discuss the countries and some basic rules.

House rules & historical view of 1936.
Oh... these are not limiting DoW's, just that axis countries will play for axis and allies for allies. (USSR can do nothing...like I care).
Just that you do not DoW immediately at first 3 months at any costs and don't try "doomed to failure" tactics knowingly.

So common courtesy and gentleman type of playing.

Of course as for Japan - 1936 skenario offers more opportunities early on.
And for other countries possibilities to do things (tech wise) differently.
