I'm more of a multiplayer based guy, so I'm more interested in that side of the game than the singleplayer. (Not that I won't play the singleplayer..)

Are we going to have more information and/or a gameplay video of the MP side before release? (This is another factor that depends on my preorder)

As I haven't played many if any products from the Developer, I'd like to see what features they'll be before I hand over my money.
The "confront friends in different multiplayer game modes" seems interesting to me, but from watching the gameplay/trailer video released, I'm wondering how that'd be turned into the quote "confront friends in different multiplayer game modes".

Recently discovered issues is causing us to not be entirely satisfied with the multiplayer portion of Impire just yet. We will therefore release the game with multiplayer still categorized as in Beta aiming to patch multiplayer into a fully functioning state very shortly after release. We know this may be disappointing, but we hope that the single player campaign will keep you entertained until we ironed out the remaining issues.

Thank you for the response. And at least you admit that you're not satisfied with it due to issues... (Some companies would just not speak a word)

Even though you ain't satisfied with it yet, how do you intend to have it running?
As in, would the multiple players have their own dungeon and need to send the troops to destroy other players dungeons or what?

(I'll accept a "You'll release more info in the future" if need be)

Lots more info to come but here is a little:

Each player will have his/her own dungeon and Impish avatar in both MP and Co-op. There are a couple different game modes but one big theme is that once your dungeon is up and running and you've had a chance to play your strategy you will do battle in "common areas". Up to FOUR people can currently take part.

I should clarify that we are planning to have multiplayer "fully playable" on release but we are saying it's in beta because there is still some polishing to do and since you, the gamers and fans, might have opinions on things we'd rather let you have it now and hear what you have to say about it than hold it back.

Personal opinion from me: If you don't pay the single player you will be missing out on a really entertaining story campaign full of sarcastic humor, wacky characters, great voice acting and even a somewhat branching structure! Single player is a big focus of the game-not just a "learning tool" for multiplayer as is common these days.

How exactly will Co-op work if each player has their own dungeon?
