Multiplayer button didn't work

Multiplayer button didn't work and I couldn't log into my Paradox account.
I tried to log in both while logged in and out of my Epic Games account but both times it just said "Failed to sign in. Please check your internet connection and try again."

Any ideas why or how it can be fixed?

Is this in our launcher, within the game, or both?

Has this ever worked for you? Or never yet?

Hi, I can log into the launcher, but it hangs up when I enter the game, and into the game when soon it says always internet failure.

Before I was able to log in and play multiplayer, this error started a few days ago.

Neither the game nor our launcher changed a few days ago, so I have no idea why this is affecting you right now.

Can you connect via a VPN or a mobile phone hotspot and see if you get the same problem? If not, most likely you have a local firewall getting in the way I guess.

Did you look into your firewalls?

No, and I don't know how to handle this firewall thing

In the Windows search box enter Firewall. Most likely you'll see that Domain, Public and Private firewalls are enabled. Click on Allow an app through. See if eu4.exe and paradox plauncher.exe are in that list. If they are, make sure BOTH Private and Public are ticked for them.

If they are not there, you need to add them there with Change Settings, Allow another app, and browse for those apps to add them. You may need local help!
