I am planning on buying Europa Universalis this week (all the reviews I've read seem very good)and wanted to get some input on the multiplayer aspects of it. I've played Starcraft,AoE, etc online with just a 56k modem connection and the overall connectivity problems seem to rely more on the host computer's connection than on those of the rest of the players. Is this also true with EU? Also...are there many EU players here in the US? I've tried IP Alpha Centauri with players in England, Australia and the US but the time differences make it logistically difficult and we also encountered lots of lag. Are there any sites that host multi EU like BattleNet or MSN zone? I'm lookng forward to at least the single player EU experience. Too bad there's no demo....it is nice to check a game out that way before plunking down 40 bucks!!! Swiss1..California, USA
