(Edit: Sorry, I missed that there was a dedicated board for Tech support. I just followed the link on the official website that points here)
Hi there,
I've tried searching high and low but no cigar so I'll try my luck here
I tried today to play a game of Majesty 2 with a friend, the first time to try it out in multiplayer. We could see both our player names in the game lobby but not the games we created until we unticked the "show available games" checkbox. The status icons said that we couldn't join because the game had already been started (though it hadn't) and that we couldn't join each other because our versions differ.
My friend bought his game in a store and had upgraded it to version 1.3.336en. I bought my from Steam and it was upgraded to version 1.3.336.
Are the developers really that sloppy that we can't join each other because one of the versions has the "en" and the other does not - or is there another solution to this?
Any help will be very much appreciated
PS: Wow, this forum has been probably the most trouble I've ever had to go through to find support for a game. It seems like it's deliberate to keep people away... (*ahem* yeah, grumpy, old man
