multiplayer with one cd ?

my father bought this game today and it wasent including a manual as it was a used game. But he wanted to play multiplayer and asked me if we could but i said nahh.. i think we need 2 installs and 2 seperate cd´s to run the game.

But i wasent sure

2 installs is possible but if we want to play multiplayer we need 2 cds right?

With the latest patch (1.09) you don't need a cd to run the game.

But I am not sure what the policy is for different users with one cd, in one family. I'll get back to you about this.

I can say from experience that you'll be fine with one cd. Play MP with my brother all the time, so enjoy!

Theoretically you need one cd for everyone who plays MP, since everyone playing needs to have bought the game. But practically paradox turns a blind eye towards members of the same family using the same cd.
