Since time immemorial, PDOx games were capable of no or limited multi threading, which led to complications for people with more less powerful cores, especially when mods were considered. Since Stellaris is using the same Clausewitz engine, is there going to be any change in this direction, or are you confident low Hz processors will handle it just fine?

I sure hope they will thread the code properly. I mean, CK2 is just plain ridiculous. I have a fairly high end processor (Xeon 1231v3, ie something between i5-4670 and i7-4770) and last time I tried CK2, which is before Horse Lords which supposedly still has major issues, the maximum speed slowed down very substantially after about hundred years. It pretty much made in unplayable for me in singleplayer - for multiplayer slower speeds are bearable (and with 15-20 players required)

Europa Universalis 3 was pretty close to this bad on launch, but their DLC - which cost money - fixed that. I did have a worse processor back then.
