I posted this thread in GD and have 22 views with no reply, so I'm thinking no one there can answer it...

For some reason, I do not seem to be able to add music files and have them work properly, as they have for many others. I downloaded all of Bluestew's files and put them in the folder, and copied the names off of the files into music.txt. No luck: Ride of the Valkyries would play, and then nothing. So I tried renaming them to the number scheme, using 555555-01 through 555555-44. Once again, no luck. Finally, I tried renaming them again to 550001-01 through 550044-01; once again, no luck. The only positive is that I have on my computer a copy of Springtime for Hitler :D that has worked with all 3 naming conventions I've used, and for some reason when I put it in there it always plays immediately after the Valkyries, and then no music, whereas if I leave it out, the music just stops after the Valkyries. I would really, really, really like to be able to use Bluestew's files, and I do not want to use WinAmp or whatever, especially since I know that they has worked for other people. The fact that they have worked for other people also indicates that the problem is not one of file type, and either way all of the files are listed as mpegs.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? Bluestew suggested that I remove the original files and use those names, but I'd like to leave those in.
