Has anyone here played it? It's a mod based off a japanese media franchise that started out as a visual novel. It's a scifi mecha series where Earth has been fighting a decades long war against aliens. Very few DH mods are like it.

How is it? It seems pretty complete, though I'm having trouble starting it. It crashes when I click on a flag at startup in English, but I can get it running in French. Even then it says it's missing events. It seems you have to download everything in order to get it to run properly.

Does anyone here want to translate it? :p

Text of link is unreadable for any non-Japanese,or post it on Japanese verison of paradoxplaza,I can read only 3 words-Mod,link,Menu.Translate info about the mod you offer to us

EDIT: Install from top to bottom, with the "MAP" download before the last patch and then run it in French. That works the best, though IDK what language the DH the Japanese devs used, since the game doesn't have a Japanese language option? You don't need to copy & paste DH Full.

I manage to get it running (with errors) by downloading the following in order from top to bottom. I run it in the French language so it won't crash. It may work better if the Map thing is installed before the final patch?

Hoh Muv Luv eh, was able to play and oh boy it twas good.. I was able to port it to 1.04 without any problems and even helping the modder to port it to the latest update. The modder, rusian said that he'll make or translate it into english when the muv luv english version is released is what he said in the comments section of that website.

What language do you run the game in? When I run it in English? Upon going to singleplayer launch screen, when I click on a flag to choose my country, it crashes. French seems to work fine, but then there's a mix of blank text, french text and a bit of English. Like it might say the USA is allied with ". . . .". And I"ll get prompts saying unknown string or whatever. I'm running it in 1.3 btw.

Run it in French language only as you can't understand the game. It seems the modder did use french language as japanese language, the rest are empty with no translations for each language or its blank since it was ported from AOD. I can provide you the link for the files needed.

But i can't load my save... Only new game... Troublesome. : / Anyone with this bug ?

I have that issue too unfortunately. I think it ultimately has to do with the mod being in Japanese.

Anyone know how to patch DH to japanese?
 
Does the locale have to be set to Japanese perhaps? You have to do that with other JP games sometimes.

Looking at the text on screenshots, unless I'm mistaken, that's largely kanji, not hira or kata, meaning perhaps the Chinese language libraries would prove more useful.

Setting it to the japanese locale didn't really help me on AoD or DH.
 
So, now that a new Muv-Luv anime has begun (namely: Schwarzesmarken, see it if you have free time, way better than the other one), i'm hyped for it.
Does anyone have newer news about this project?

So what? Nobody is suggesting making a sex mod. There are "all-ages" versions of the original VN but it really doesn't matter. If it bothers you that much for some reason, you can ignore this mod and let other people have their fun instead of being judgmental.

I mean, I feel the smell of yakuza, from the background of Âge.
My feelings is based on that Âge's punishment for KURIBAYASHI Minami in this winter, and more.

All of us should ignore Muv-Luv.

I feel the smell of yakuza from SEGA and their handling PSO2, but still play it, no? :p

I'm curious, what's this whole drama concerning Minami? I mean, Age is pretty notorious about delays and being piss poor with money, but this is the first I've heard about Yakuza shenanigans. Then again, I've only recently dived into Muv Luv in general, Schwarzmarken in particular.

I like the franchise. I'd like to see this fanmade mod translated so I can play it better. It's not like money would go to Age over it.
