I have had the great pleasure recently of speaking directly with Calipah.
We have spoken on the phone now three or so times to discuss some of his many ideas for the rebuilding of certain regions and the fine tuning of others.
I can report that he is very much the man I had come to hope he was: well-educated, polite and very intelligent.
His English is better than that of most native speakers, not only in his elocution, but in his vocabulary as well. He also has the charming habit of rolling his rs slightly and elongating his ls, no doubt a habit that comes from speaking arabic most of his life.
So, it was a great pleasure for me personally, and very productive also for the mod. I will now create a few threads to cover some of the ideas that he has brought forward.
