My friend and I can't play

Hello,

My friend and I are trying to play Prison architect together in multiplayer but everytime my friend tries to join me he gets kicked out while loading with this message " lost connection to server ", i am playing on steam and he's playing on epic games since the game was released for free on epic games. Sometimes we tried to hope on other servers like Asia, Usa instead of europe and most of the time it worked but after some play time he would get kicked and no possible way to connect again on my game. Is there any solutions for this problem ?

This is an ongoing problem at present I'm afraid. One workaround is to only play small prisons for the time being. You may also find using a VPN, and disabling IPv6 in your machine, helps a bit.

As soon as business resumes in January we'll be taking up this issue with the developers again, hopefully it can be fully fixed next patch.
