My friend is allied with my Enemy. Alliance Possible?

Hi,
I'm Turkey in 1566. Currently a friendly nation
to me +200 (Afkhazan)(spelling sorry) is allied
with my -200 enemy Persia and they have an alliance.
Is there any way i can pry Afkhazan away from
Persia. There seems no way to ally with them otherwise.
The offer vassalization option is highlighted, but
they refuse that.

You'll have to wait until their alliance terminates. Hope they don't go to war, which extends it. When the time comes around when it expires, hit pause and get on them quickly.

I had forgotten that you cannot invite a nation
in another alliance to join your alliance.
I knew I could not join other alliances myself
if i was in one.
But i forgot that you can't invite a nation
in another alliance to join yours.

Maybe you should try offer vassalization-> refuse-> give money-> offer again until they accept? If you have it highlighted, then sooner or later they will accept.
