My games chrashes all the time!

Suddenly when i play, the game chrashes out to windows. That is damn annoying when you dont have autosave on. I also occur when i am pressing the exit button and when i am trying to annex sweden! WTF?!

These things may not be related and some may be bugs, which need to be e-mailed in .

However lets try some basic stuff to avoid CTDs.
Okay let's Castellon's standard advice.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
4) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.

FYI.

I too have had a lot of problems with HoI 2.

But, when I installed HoI I also installed Norton Internet Security Suite (2005) by Symantec at the same time.
Also installed "Pirates!" Two days before that.

The Norton install did not go smoothly

Anyway, I have had mulitple CTDs, flicker and the music stuttering.
So, to take a break I played Rome:TW - same problem there??

After I disabled Norton Internet Security Suite (2005) everything runs smoothly again - including HoI2!

Will do a bit more checking on this and keep you informed if I can find out exactly where the problem lies.
