Not sure if this is a bug or just a really aggravating feature but my second son married to a princess of the HRE who had a claim to both it, and several other counties. Then my idiot first son had his little brother assassinated, before they could procreate. Now I've got this extremely useful princess in my realm with no husband. She's only in her early twenties so there's lots of time to remarry her, and I have one other unmarried son who I've given a county. "Thank goodness" I think. So I arrange a marriage with him and the princess and notice that the button is blacked out and that he is saying no, so I give him a little gift and an honorary title for a thirty rep increase and now he's at something like 83... Still no. I highlight the reasoning and he's got like 10 pluses and 7 minuses... Two for the default and five for desires better alliance. Does "Desires a better alliance" automatically make it impossible to convince someone to marry, and is it supposed to?
