My tax rates randomly raise.

I'm playing the remastered version on the series x and for apparently no reason and at random times my tax rates for all building types will start to raise to ridiculous levels and when I lower them they just go right back up as soon as I unpause the game. It's caused me to nearly give up on playing the game. Any help would be appreciated.

I know what it is. It's been doing it for me. It's actually just the fact you have opened the budget screen and it is super sensitive to navigation. As soon as I was opening the screen I was inadvertently editing the budget % when I was rushing.

So in your video, notice that the budget menu option is the 'right hand option'... As you choose budget, it passes on to the controller input. Try to set the % on 13% and then go away from the budget list before closing the screen.
