First off, great start! I like what has been done so far, there are a few changes that I would like to see (not that I have pull, but it would be nice) I did watch the Pub. Q&A on the 21st, so the things covered there If I re-mention them I will be brief. Also, apologies if any of this has been posted just wanted to put my thoughts out there. because the game is like " " close to Greatness, in something I have always wanted. As for me I am about 8.5 hours in, so I haven't seen everything yet, slightly OCD on my building games, I like things neat and organized (so if some of my concerns seem petty or nit picky that's why)

** The UI stuff, I get it, not really going to touch on to much WITH EXCEPTION: The "Launch" button for your resupply rockets needs to be moved. I have launched a few rockets now because when I am making changes to the payload I click "Back" and the "Launch" button is in the exact same place as the "Back" button, or just a prompt...

1. Colonist, Vetting needs to be better, (AT LEAST IN BEGINNING), whats meant by that is the International Co-op, USA, SpaceY etc. are not going to risk a multi-billion dollar endeavor to Mars by letting Debra, the Alcoholic, Gambler who is a suicidal depressive, be among the 1st pioneers to venture out to the great frontier. Just a better vetting process where the first few colonist (during survival phase) are at least cosmic professionals (Proper Astronauts/Cosmonauts). after that when going to Mars becomes synonyms with a flight across the ocean, then the others would be welcome. As well, if say if there is a disaster, there is a % based chance that they could develop one of these conditions. Also, just being able to set the buildings to ONLY accept certain professions would be just the best.

2. The Domes, that's already been covered on connecting them, Ill wait on that, but having the ability for colonists to move between the domes is paramount. Moreover though, the ability to add to the domes is something I would like to see. For example, having a dedicated (or not, movable in between the dedicated pipe and tram ways) water storage or O2 tanks that can be added to the dome for emergencies. Additionally, a drone control "topper" or antennae, at the top that would boost the drone range (just enough to cover the dome and maybe 2-3 hex tile buffer around. We will see what comes with the passages update, that was really my main drawback and what put a halt on my game play.

3. If Roads are a thing or tram ways, buried pipes and cables, it just makes sense, protects the cables and pipes and gets them out of sight. That takes us into: Subterranean Structures! The FIRST thought I had when I saw one of the Box canyons on my map was: That's where the Colony needs to be, obliviously the canyon was too large, but from a protection standpoint, doming that canyon would have been the best location for a long term settlement. Maybe make it a Wonder, a MEGA Dome! Also the Second thought was...I should make that a huge reservoir for water and then just put a big Tupperware lid on it...

4. The concept of SLOWLY terraforming the planet, and I mean VERY slowly, and this plays into the connected colonies concept as well. If your factories emit gasses that should get trapped in the atmosphere. however, Mars looses part of its atmosphere due to solar winds because the magnetic poles are weak. SO in late game a way to begin the terraforming end game would be to start moving excess materials and finished products not to Earth but via rail to another map location where Martian Engineers have begun the process of building a core drill in attempts to inject Molten Iron into the planets core to give it greater MASS and create a stronger magnetic field. That's Phase 1. Phase 2,3,4,5 etc. etc would be in the seeding of algae across the region to create oxygen, increasing CO2 emissions for plant food and atmosphere, maybe building (NOT SEEN like the shuttles back and fourth from earth) Shuttles out to get Asteroids rich in water or other gasses to be towed and detonated in atmosphere, yadda yadda...you get it. with the eventual goal of having life without the domes.

5. MAJOR concepts and stuff out of the way, (and if this in late game already sorry) but I would like to see an Air/Shuttle-port at some point where instead of vertical landing and take off; rockets take of and lad like a normal shuttle and having a dedicated landing strip minimizes dust, centralizes immigration, enhances security etc, (this is probably the intent of the space elevator haven't got there yet).

6. Research Labs occasionally generate a need for a manned excursion, where a team of mixed science teams i.e.: The Research lab needs Rock Samples from a near by formation...(needed: 2 Geologists) Strange fungus has taken hold in sector Blah, (needed 2 Botanists). These would need to escalate depending on how far along your colony is.

7. Late game Space port Wonder to launch research missions to Phobos & Deimos

8. Different factions have different models for their vehicles. (honestly, its the eyes on the drones....kills me...)

9. Color schemes, and also may just a button to request cleaning...I know the buildings get cleaned when they receive service but just cleaning...it needs it, maybe give it -.05% or whatever to the maintenance timer...

Just thoughts, Im not going to be upset if nothing gets added, just my thoughts on what could be added. Im excited to see what they come out with in the coming months.
