Hello all,
I just wanted to start my first game using the Bronze Age Mod. Unfortunately, there seems to be something messed up with names. On the world map, countries only have three capital letters as names, in the description fields of the start screen it says things like "egyptian_malename" etc (see screenshots attached). I assume there is something messed up with some sort of text file.
Can anyone offer helpful advice how to fix it ?
I am using the german version on steam to complete details.
Thanks!

In all fairness I don't remember them ever claiming to have anything other than English localizations.
I do not expect a german version to make things clear. I just wonder whether the issues shown in the screenshots above have to do with my German version of the game or whether it is some sort of bug or incompatibility that is known.

It is unlikely that it is a bug.
More likely that Bronze Age does not have German localizations for "nomarchy_ruler", "iuny_heritage", "ba_startup.8.t", any of the country tags, ect.
While things like "Für Mehrspieler öffnen", "Bevölkerung", and "Diplomatie" are being pulled from vanilla localization files.

You might call that an incompatibility when the mod is run with the default language is set to something other than English.

In my experience localizations can take quite a bit of work to complete. I am sure that they would love some help. :)
