At the moment I am close to set up the first Grand Campaign of the Friday Eurpean Series (Revanche of the Great War 1936). Our first session is expected to kick off on 12 August.

Few candidates have complained (http://xsorbit25.com/users5/hoiplayers/index.php?topic=479.0 ) that having Nationalist China as a human contorlled nation makes impossible. Personally I have a different view but not having participated in any MP game with human Nat.Chi so far, have no personal experince. So, I decided to make a poll among MP veterans. I 'd be glad to see your experience / thoughts

I'm interested myself. I'm NatChi in the Labour Day Marathon

It is very nice of you Brasidas that you offer to join us. But just some minutes ago Kyril accepted to take over NatChi.

However, if you had some experince already, it would help for Kyril for sure. Feel free to contact him (Kyril's profile)

I think it's dependent on 2 things:

1. Is there a limmit on when Japs can DOW China? If Japs DOW when China is still at a ton of dissent, and fighting Commies, there is not much fun playing as China (except for the fact that the early DOW and aggression might fire a US Gear early).

2. What's your expectation of the game? some people seem keen on a 'historic' game, where Germany takes France (not even mention Poland) easily, Japs beat China, the Germs will have time to attack deep into Russia, and the Japs have the strength to attack the Allies. Then US joins, blablabla.
Japs vs China might well hurt Japs chances to do much in the Pacific later on, and if the Japs make a mistake in China (for instance loose an army due to encirclement), might well end up loosing the mainland.

It,s Time

The Aussie group I play with prefer no China player. The reasons given are this would unbalance the game and that the Jap/Sino war would slow up the game. Well with all the new players we have joining the Aussie group I think its time to bring China into the game. I dont think it will unbalance the game. It will take longer but that is no reason not to try it.
