I started playing as Japan and as expected got the naval improvement event (or a similar name) pretty early on. I went with continue the programme which gives you a supply hit but should give you a list of ships being commisioned. However as of the beginning of 1937 i did not receive any ships while i constantly take the supply hit and see all other nation have the commission events on a regular base. Is this normal, does Japan get his fleet commisioned later??? :wacko:

You should have gotten a few of the destroyers (Shigure, Shiratsuyu and Okinoshima) in 1936... In Japan's case most of the ships will be finished later though.
ok, i didnt get the destroyers, i will try a reload and see if the events pop this time
Just make sure you select option A - that's always the historical one within CORE. The Japanese naval build chain has option C which will only build new units, hence you'd not receive the destroyers in 1936.
