Right now they are Lombard, most likely because they weren't changed way back when the Italian cultures got split up. It's a fairly minor nitpick, but it bothers me a bit.

Also, the Acciaioli family that ruled Athens were Florentine, not that it's particularly significant, but keeping them Lombard is a bit strange when Tuscan is probably somewhat more correct.

So, Venetian or Tuscan? IIRC, Naxos was formed by a Venetian profiteer during the 4th Crusade( best Crusade).

I would actually recommend having Athens have Greek as its Primary Culture. Nerio II Acciaioli spoke Greek naturally and was one of the main proponents of a revived Italian Philhellenism, and, much like the Franks in Cyprus, most of the aristocracy had begun to view themselves as locals (a sentiment shared by the locals themselves).

Or if that's not feasible, at least remove the primary culture restriction in releasing nations.
