Better reinstall! Mine has it.
Follow the directions in the self help sticky thread, notice that the uninstall is a hot link to full instruction on uninstalling.
Then do a fresh install of EU2 from the CD, then apply 1.07 patch for your version, then apply latest beta patch.
Then see if game still has the problem before you install EEP. If it works fine then install EEP, if you have problems then, you must consult the EEP forum as we cannot support user made scenarios.
Make sure you unzip the beta patch into the EU2 folder and select keep folder names and select overwrite all files.
