Necrophage + Fruitful Partnership origin idea

Imagine you could combine the two. It will be sorta like The Thing movie. You suddenly awake sleeping cell on enemy planet, it spawns an army there and if planet is conquered all enemy pops slowly purges into your species. Cool concept?

I like the idea and you don't even have to consider yourself 'The Thing' (which I would, at least for one playthrough!) but also as a selective invasive species, it really isn't too far away from what has been built so far. Good idea.
