Thanks in advance

ps.what about the recuiting at new colonial cities it seems odd being able to recuit armies whose city pop. in hundreds especially when historically europe could only raise small or specialist unit from there colonies /cities.

There's a readme in the zip file.

Short answer: unzip to your EU directory. Default is

C:program FilesParadox EntertainmentEuropa Universalis

Make sure you have 'Use Folder Names' ON, or the files won't go to the right directories.

There are also a couple of .exe files to run, but the readme tells you about those.

Problem: It (my computer) won't let me overwrite the required file in question. I get a 'can't create output file' error. What might the problem be?

I am having the same problem this guy has: I unzip the IGC zip in the 'EU' folder and nothing triggers the required file overwrite. I've farted around with settings in Win Explorer and Winfile to try to trigger the 'subdirectory-recognition' for the respective overwrites, but nothing triggers it.

Maybe I am a friggin' moron after all. Someone please spell out (phonetically, if necessary :)) exactly how to trigger the file overwrites so that the morons of the world can partake in the joy that apparently is playing EU with the IGC scenario.

Thanx in advance.

E,

That's probably the issue (I don't use Winzip...). Doesn't matter, because being the resourceful, meticulous bastard that I am :D, I routed all the overwrites manually and got the IGC to work. Took a while, but so did failing at trying to trigger an auto-overwrite.

V,

Unless you get a different zip utility, I'm betting you're going to have to follow my lead. Good luck.
