I have a new gaming PC that came with Vista. I found a reply to a thread
that said,

"(The installer on the Anthology CD doesnt work with Vista...well known issue.
Workaround...Go into Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder for the
game you want to install and launch the Setup.exe file from there. Also to
avoid hassels do not install the game in the defalt location...install it in a
place like c\games\hoi2DDA for Armageddon.)"

I took that as meaning with Vista I have to install the CD through Windows
Explorer, I wasn't sure. I found (Windows Explorer) in Accessories but when I
clicked on it I went into (Owner>Documents). In there I couldn't find anything
that said (Setup.exe file). Does it even matter as long as its installed in
c\games??

Im tired of trail and error. Can anybody please tell me EXACTLY what Im
supposed to do.

Thanks Anybody

Navigate from >Owner\Documents to your CD (or DVD) drive. Setup.exe should be there... not on your Hard Disk.

Sorry, your dealing with a newbie here. Dont want to uninstall again.
2 more questions.

1. Are you saying to navigate through the left side of the screen into
DVDRW drive-Armageddon-(Setup-installsheild)?

2. You do this even if you install in c\games?

Just want to make sure,
Thanks again

1) That's what I meant, yes.

2) If you've already got it in C:\games, then it sounds to me like the Installer has already done its job.

Can you successfully start the game?
