Need help on versions please!!!!

Hello.

A friend and I where trying to play a multiplayer game, we have done this many a time before, but for some reason cant get it to work! We downloaded the new version 3.1a and the no-time-limit mod and installed them and then tried to play. Our versions should be right, I dunno what to do? could the mod have messed things up? or the update? Please answer ASAP!

I just dont get it, his version says: Version hoi2 v3.1 jqrc

mine says the exact same thing, only the jqrc is diffrent.

thats the checksum for the game, if its not the same on both ends means you have different files then he does. In which case you won't be able to play together unless you sort out the files issue. So either of you must have messed up the installation at one point, try a clean install, then install the mod on that and see if it works.

If thats not possible see if you can "roll bacK" the installed mod, if thats not possible either you're gonna need to know which file(s) isn't the same on either side and replace it\them
