I just got my copy of the game, and strangely I am having trouble installing the game. My CD-ROM device is auto-enabled, but when I put the CD in it will not run. Neither would it run when I try to activate it manually by going to Start-Run-D:\Setup.exe. Anybody have any suggestions on what might be going on?

Actually that's what happened to me as well after I had just typed the path to start-run, it started to do something but never finished. Instead I chose the setup file by choosing browse in the run menu and picking the file, for some really obscure reason that worked. You could try manually choosing the autorun file just as well.

Btw. Are you certain your CD drive path is D:?

Try that and if it does not work let me know.

i get the same problem too. it takes a lot of time to autoload and after i press install it freezes for a while and then nothing appears. When i check "my Computer' my CD Rom drive has gone.....

i tried manually starting setup and the installation program never runs...

i really want to play this game because of the demo!! please help! :(

Sounds like a common problem with Paradox games under certain operating systems. Try copying the cd to your desktop and install it from there.

I certain don't think you could call this a common problem with Paradox games!

I hear every person who has problems and I can tell you, A) it is not related to Paradox software, B) it is not that common on Paradox games, much less so than say many other game companies.
