Need someone to send me 1.04a patch unzipped.

I know im asking alot, but my install shield program for installing doesnt work, and i would like to install the update but it gives me error

Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

So could someone please install the update into a folder, then zip it and send it to my email, i would be eternally grateful.

I´m sure Castellon can help you with this one, to me it sounds as if a complete manual uninstall, as instructed in the stickies here, would be the first thing to try.

quit sadly, for every program. I would reformat my pc as it has given me many problems but I dont have an xp cd.

Do you have write rights to program files? This error can be caused if Installshield is not allowed to write to C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information.

If you're not an administrator, that's the likely cause.

Never mind, fixed the problem. Put in a fresh copy of windows after format.
