well, so you can get an idea, i was studying almost the entire weekend Intelligent Systems (i have an exam this week), then when i get home, i got a lot of mails from Steel with things he found (bugs ) ... i started checking them, and I ended sending the last update to N!ghty at 1:30am ARG ... then when I got here (work) i received the installer from N!ghty, so i made it public.

Spain

Was just playing core .2 and the spanish civilwar started and I sent volunteers and suplies. Is it so that you wont receive late war expereience doctrine because you dont have the previeous level tech?

IIRC the tech reward has been moved to when the war finishes instead of occurring at the start of it. Kind of makes sense

spanish civil war end ctd

I just had a ctd at the end of the spanish civil war - I'm playing 1.04 with Sheps tech mod - I suspect the tech mod is what caused it, but not positive.

how is your install?
you installed HoI, then patched 1.04, then installed CORE, then installed Sheps techs? or how?

I had that CTD too.
It happens when Spanish war ends (I sent some my generals to help the rebels), when I should get rewarded with some teches.

No other mods installed.

could you send me the "history.txt" (compressed ) that appears in your HoI directory just after the CtD appears?

Help needed

Ive just downloaded 0.2 and got it installed on 1.04.

I add a file entry for my Vichy events to CORE_events.txt and copied the file to mod-CORE\scenarios\CORE_campaign\events its called core_VichyFrance.txt.

After some initial probs with db mismatch | <ignore> | CTD I have managed to get the file parsed.

However, when I start the CORE campaign, I bring up the console and type event .......

The pop is displayed and then disappear without any confirmation needed!

Can some tell me what Im doing wrong!

awsome, my only complaint is that countries influence others so often, especially in the beginning it is rather annoying (even in the log at the bottom).


Added: Should Paraguay really have ship techs that Spain doesn't?

I'm gonna fire this up later today... looks quite amazing!

That said, is there anyone who would have any idea on exactly what to backup if I simply wanted to stop using the C.O.R.E. mod and go back to the 'original' version of HOI?

I just want a quick way to backup the stuff that's replaced (can be entire folders, etc.) and then have that data ready to copy back to my HOI directory if I want a quick "rollback".

Anyone?
