So, some new bugs/issues have arrived since the Campus DLC:

- Icons (toolbar) take some time to load
- Some buildings' textures take a long time to render after plopping.
- Some people complain about lagging/stuttering. Especially with weather + day/night enabled.
- Some roads rendering seems unstable (sidewalk flickers).
- .... ?

Love it that there is ongoing console support by the way! Console has now catched up to the (unmodded) PC version (minus Concerts, what about that eh?) :)

Yup having the same issues, often takes several minutes for the tool bar icons to load and the buildings aren't rendering the high LOD models when zooming in.

Traffic seems a bit wonky as well, noticing planes and trains frozen in place sometimes.

Also noticed the brush size select menu (when holding triangle) is missing when marking Campus zones, although it is possible to change the size with the dpad.

I just developed a problem with the oil industry. There is no oil trucks delivering oil to any of the plants to produce plastic, etc... the only deliver to storage all my factories have ceased to function. This is after I zoned a new Trade school campus. Im on A PS4 PRO.

PS4 user, also having the same bugs/issues (90-95k population, unlimited $).

In addition, cars/trucks/buses randomly stall, creating unneeded traffic backups (my traffic flow jumped from ~80% to 40% to 60%). Perhaps there are too many objects to render, but this only occurred after the 9.00 update.

Issues I've noticed since Campus update on PS4:
  • Unique factory delivery vans often disappear (but not always) when unloading special goods to commercial zones. I noticed this affecting delivery vans from the Furniture Factory, but I haven't checked other unique factories.
  • Fire extinguish animation for fire trucks / crews is now acting weird. The firefighter with the water hose is no longer standing on the street pouring water on the burning building.

I also noticed these, already mentioned above:
  • Interface icons take long time to load (sporadically)
  • Washed out building textures from time to time

I'm having trouble as well.

- The speed of the game won't increase
- Toolbar icons won't load,, or slowly
- Textures aren't rendering

The game itself is slow, jittery and not enjoyable to play. When can we expect assistance on the matter?

I'm having trouble as well. PS4 Pro, 9 tiles map (The Archipelago), 20k population.
Icons (toolbar) take some time to load and game performance become worse after campus DLC update.
I hope they work on it as fast as possible.

Another bug I noticed (PS4, unlimited $):

Previously you could place European-style service buildings (schools, fire stations etc.) on non-European maps. Since the 9.00 update, if you start a new game with unlimited $, you don't have that option anymore.

Edit: never mind, the "Enable style buildings" became unchecked after the update

Another thing I just noticed while giving the game another go. The option to toggle game speed is still there, but doesn't seem to have any effect anymore. No difference between one speed, two speed or three speed.

Lots of "game breaking" stuff sadly :-(

Also the firefighter animation weird. About three firefighters seem to walk into the burning building with a cut off hose. Somehow they put it out quickly and walk out with their cut off hose again. Please fix hehe

I'm having all the same problems as well. PS4, 9 tiles map. Has anyone notice the 9 tiles map max has increase but your not able to click on those tiles.
- The speed of the game won't increase
- Toolbar icons won't load or is realy slow
- Textures of building and trains aren't rendering
- cars/trucks/buses randomly stall

All of this only occurred after the 9.00 update and Campus DLC

I hope Paradox can fix the problem as soon as possible.
For right now the game is unplayable....

Unplayable indeed. Couldn't really tell if my city has a death wave or stalled hearses. Same for garbage collection problems which almost resulted in an abaondoned district. Not because of a low budget but a row of stuck trucks. Hopefully it's patched soon.

Too bad I couldn't get to play with all the new features that came with Campus, as my city started to fail due to the bugs. I'm taking a break from C:S and now am engaged with Tropico 6, but I miss my favourite game.

Playing on PS4, I don't seem to have the ability to rotate objects any more by pressing left and right on the D-Pad.

Also, has the distance for objects placed near a pathway been decreased. I opened a city I built months ago and now all of a sudden the tents that I placed in my nature preserve say they are not near a pathway. They were fine before, now all of a sudden they don't work.

Why is it with every major DLC release of this game there are major issues? Come on!!

Playing on PS4 and have all of the issues listed here since campus update.
Is there any official recognition of these issues anywhere?
Such a shame because the game was working really nicely before this update.
Unplayable at the moment sadly

That's the double edge sword. Because of all the bugs, a lot of people have stopped playing. Problem is, because they stopped playing, people probably haven't found all the bugs to report, so they may not all get fixed.

I think it's a piss poor practice to release a game or DLC just to met some arbatrary deadline yet it's full of bugs that makes the game virtually unplayable. Gee, thanks for the new DLC, too bad I can't enjoy playing it though, but you enjoy counting all our money that you got in return for your sh**ty work! Im sure it took most people 5 minutes of play time to start seeing major graphic problems and other bugs. So either beta testing wasn't done, or this is another case of, "let's go ahead and push this junk out and we'll fix it later. Let's pat ourselves on the back that we met our deadline, too bad people will be frustrated to even try and play it".

The frustrating part is, these DLC's are mandatory updates on console. The DLC content is part of the patch, which install on my console and changes the game code even if I don't want or intend to buy the DLC. So everyone gets F'd equally.

Does nobody believe in quality of work these days?
