new family with 2 adults - cannot appoint family head a job

I play as settled tribe Brigantium and have got a new family with 2 adults and many minors. They ask for 2 jobs.
The son of family head got a job 1/2
The family head who is the only other adult cannot get a job. I dont see him selectable as governor/admiral/government office
How can I give him a job?

You can't give the family head a job, but those kind of problem tends to fix itself within some months, as the family will adopt minor characters soon (which either already have a job or can take one)
