AgentSmith, the hoi.icq.group has lots of players, so maybe you should join that and invite people online for short notice games, it works a little better. :)

I have joined that group but don't understand how it interfaces with ICQ. If I wanted to broadcast a message to the members via ICQ, how would I do it exactly?

Well first thing you'd do is add each player to your icq, then make sure they are all in a 'group', then right click on the group name, select "send to all" and then type your message and it will be sent to all members of that group. :)

So joining hoi.icq.group doesn't help do this - it's just another forum, right? What I'm hoping for is a way of broadcasting to all HoI ICQ players without having to find and type in all their numbers. I've got 30 listed in my current ICQ tool already but there are 100 members of that group.

Andrew

The hoi.icq.group isn't a forum, it's a listing of icq numbers from people that put themselves on the list. As for icqing large groups of people who haven't authorized you or that you haven't even tried to add to your icq- well as far as I can remember you can't. ;)
