New marriage acceptance logic?

So simple old eu2 range ( -149 to +200, exc -5..25) don't work anymore (sep'24 beta). So no free (although little cheesy) way to rise relations, alas.

Can we have at least some clues about new formula? Is badboy matters? Is catholic-orthodox breed now even possible?

For example, as Austria at start 1419 I have "low chance" for acceptance from Bavaria (+150) and "no chance" for Saxony (+70) and Hungary (+150). It's quite weird, imho.

I think the question is not about the chance displayed before you click (which is great), but why you sometimes get "no chance" even though relations are great. I have also noticed that Catholic - Orthodox often gives no chance, not sure if it has to do with the size of your country.

btw found another crash here, probably well known since it happens in 1.2 as well: clicking on "go to" in "marriage rejected" window. Wonder where it mean to go anyway, to a nearest pub maybe?)

The chances are diminished if either country has many royal marriages already or if either country has vassals. Both Austria and Hungary have multiple of each in 1419.

Thanks, it makes sense. For example, as german 1-prov minor (without initial affairs) I have "high-veryhigh" chances for first two marriages, "medium-low" for third and so on.

But what about big countries, is their sheer size can be preventing factor? For example, as Holland in mid XVII I have "no chance" to RM Sweden, although both countries have only one vassal and no existing RM, with rel +138. After I have boosted rels to +199 for insane amount of money, I still get "no chances" or (very rare) "very low chances". But as Palatinate in same time I have "little doubt" on both Hol & Swe.
