Hi Folks,
I've created a new scenario called "Regain Lost Lands (1936)" and I'm having an issue with my Austro-Hungarian leader file (...\db\leaders\U01.csv). I repeatedly get "leader already used...File U01,line 71" (and numerous more errors for other leaders) when loading the game. I can ignore the message and the game loads & runs fine but it is a pain in the a$# to click through 60 "Ignores." For troubleshooting purposes I have cut the list of leaders down so the file contains only one bad (already used) leader. I have tried:
• Renumbering the leader (numerous times and higher numbers). This includes searching the country files to ensure the numbers are not duplicated.
• Copying and renaming the picture then editing the leader file to use the renamed picture.
• I even renamed the leader.

Here is short version of the file (omitting lines until the errored record/leader):
Code:
Name;ID;Country;Rank 3 Year;Rank 2 Year;Rank 1 Year;Rank 0 Year;Ideal Rank;Max Skill;Traits;Skill;Experience;Loyalty;Type;Picture;Start Year;End Year;x
Bardolff;99918000;U01;1930;1930;1990;1990;2;5;516;1;0;3;0;L2700;1930;1960;x
...
...
...
Abt;99999071;U01;1941;1990;1990;1990;3;4;0;0;0;5;0;Abt_Otto_ASH;1941;1960;x

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the only issue I have with the scenario.
Thanks in advance.

After numerous attempts and time not well spent, I decided to scrap the leader file and start over. With 441 leaders for Austro-Hungary, it wasn't fun but it works.

Something similar happened with me some time back, and after weeks of frustration I found it was because I'd somehow managed to paste two copies of the offending csv into the same file - one after the other. I'm not suggesting that anyone else could be that stupid.
