1.11, with Graphics Improvement mod. Brest is undergoing a Carrier Strike, by 23 ships, but the Bearn has been sunk by one of my BC IVs. Both my carrier fleets are in the province for days, but can not engage. Only (exhausted) aircraft can engage. However, earlier I did get a CV battle, but only at point-blank range, which cost me 1 CV and damaged 3 more of my 7 -- too strange, so I re-started...

One of 2 CV fleets, on top of the action, not engaging or being engaged:

Now reloading from the French perspective, we get:

A carrier strike with no carrier. Also, the Capital vs escort ships counts of the French fleet in the German Screens is incorrect - it's 11/11, not 19/3

So what's different from how I usually play?

1. GIP installed, but why would that effect operations?

2. Historical outcomes off. This resulted in the French Fleet staying with Free France, vs Vichy.

Only my Scharnhorsts were engaging this fleet, and they kept retreating. I only have 4 of 6 operational now, and docked at Cherborg.

Finally, 18 days later - engagement:

My pooped Luftwaffe did most of the damage before.
