New patch!

The third patch is out. It's available at the MadMinute Games Forum. I hear you can revise maps now. Since you could already create alternative Orders of Battle, this means that you can set up virtually any battle in the civil war or beyond. Gettysberg, Antietam, Shiloah, Pea's Ridge -- yes, Pea's Ridge -- here I come!

I played a game with the new patch and go whooped! I've never a great commander but the AI did seem a bit more coordinated. It was the battle on Cedar mountian - me as Yankees. The AI basically pinned me in front and then marched around my open flank.

Making maps possible is great - not sure how much work is involved - I think its quite tricky but at least we can have a go now.

Please remember that the patch is for

English CD Version Only

Right now I'm waiting on gamer's gate to first get TC2M back up on their site. Then I need to make sure the English Download version of the patch works. Once that's done I'll get right on the other language versions.

As far as I know I need German, French, and Spanish.

I just heard about this game, and just finished reading a slew of very strong reviews from mainstream publishers like Gamespot and Eurogamer. So, where and how can I buy it? I gather it will be available at Gamers Gate shortly?

The patch link is only on the forum. I have not officially announced it yet, because Gamers Gate is having major problems and our direct download players can't get it.
